The Eupsychia Process takes place in a group setting of caring, like-minded people from all walks of life. Along with support and validation for our emerging future life, we create a strong sense of community and compassion for our human struggles. Together, we "feel our way through" whatever patterns are holding us away from our complete fulfillment in life.

This ten-day program is aligned with an emerging philosophy which sees our symptoms of distress, not as pathology, but as those of birthing a new and higher consciousness. And we all work to midwife this sacred process, knowing there is a healing force within us that constantly urges us toward realizing our greatest potential.

We teach through theories and methods that combine effective psychological and spiritual principles. Participants are guided to release hard-to-reach patterns holding unwanted habits in place by bringing them into contact with a greater sense of Selfhood. We are a soul-based (psycho-spiritual) program that stresses overcoming ego issues so we can live more from our souls.

Included are psycho-spiritual therapies such as Integrative Breathwork (musical meditations into the unconscious mind), shadow work, the enactment of symbol, myth and story, expressive artwork, movement, sacred ceremony, mask-making, guided imagery, chakra clearing, inspired readings, meditation, journal work and play.

Optional activities that round out this sacred inner work in daily practice, include: Morning yoga class, individual session with Jacquelyn Small and other staff members, individual bodywork sessions, exercise, nature outings, nutritional counseling and Twelve Step meetings for those in recovery.

Enhancement of our creative self-expression, making a stronger conscious contact with our Higher Power, releasing ourselves from cultural trance, "unsticking" past programming, learning to be our true selves and discovering our soul's purpose are all basic goals of this healing program.

Participants leave with practical skills for continuing their healing process and integrating their inner and outer lives to manifest their deepest inner longings.

Eupsychia's staff consists of heart-felt professional therapists, teachers and interns specializing in transpersonal psychology, addiction recovery, and psychospiritual approaches to wellness. The staff/client ratio for this program is from 1/6 to 1/8. Interns in their final stage of training in Eupsychia's Certification Program are also present to lend support for those attending for healing. Jacquelyn Small is present for the entire program.

If our program appeals to you, you may download the Application Packet or email us to either email the packet to you or mail it to you. You will read an in-depth description of the program, all about the program logistics, and about pay-out plans if you need one. It also contains an Application and Psychosocial Form that must be completed and returned to us. We maintain strict confidentiality and do not share this information with anyone beyond Eupsychia's staff without your written approval.

The Psychosocial is a way for us to more fully understand you and what you are seeking from this intensive program. Decisions such as determining which small group leader is best suited to the issues you are exploring (or struggling with!) during the 10 days is made from the information you provide. Once we review your information a Senior staff member will contact you (if we do not already know you) and get acquainted. Together, the two of you decide if the program is right for you and it is an opportunity for you to ask questions to appropriately evaluate us. Upon acceptance, a $500 deposit is due with the balance payable on-site in Wimberley. We accept checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express. And we have pay-over-time plans for anyone who cannot attend otherwise. Once your deposit is received we will mail a confirmation letter to you that explains the finer details of the logistics, such as how to catch the group shuttle at the airport if flying in, driving directions (if necessary), what to bring, what to pack... things like that.
